Career[edit]

Media[edit]

In 2014, Michael landed a co-hosting role as The Shadow on SiriusXM’s boxing show At the Fights with former heavyweight boxing contender Gerry Cooney and Randy Gordon, former Chairman of the New York State Athletic Commission.[3]

A year later, Michael became a host of second season of NuvoTV’s boxing show KNOCKOUT alongside Gordon and Showtime SportsAl Bernstein.[3] After KNOCKOUT, Michael worked with Bisnow Media as national editor and director of content strategy leading up to the company’s $50 million sale.[4]

Michael is the founder of WealthLAB, a media startup launched with Odunayo Eweniyi, an award-winning African entrepreneur, and founder of Piggybank.ng.[5][6]

Real estate[edit]

Shortly after the Bisnow sale, Michael launched New York Equity Group, a real estate investment company, based in New York City.[7] He’s currently building the first minority-owned high rise in Jersey City’s McGinley Square neighborhood.[8] He’s since brought in nephew Martin Braithwaite and his father in the US-based real estate business.[9]

In June 2018, Michael released his first book "Real Estate Wealth Hacking: How To 10x Your Net Worth In 18 Months."[10]
