Pierre Zarokian is an Armenian-American entrepreneur and CEO of Submit Express, a digital marketing company that has won Inc5000[1] and Fast500 awards.[2][3] He is also a writer for Search Engine Journal and various other publications and often speaks at industry trade shows.
Early life[edit]
Pierre Zarokian is an Armenian born in Iran and moved to the USA at age 15. He studied computer science at California State University, Northridge and got his B.S degree in Computer Science in 1995.[4]
Career[edit]
Zarokian worked in the IT industry as an IT support technician and then a Y2K analyst from 1995 to 1998.[4]
In 1998, he launched Submit Express, which became one of the leading search engine optimization (SEO) companies in the 2000's.[5] Submit Express went on to win Inc5000 Awards thee times (2007-2009)[6] and Fast500 twice (2008-2009).[7][8]
In 2008, Zarokian launched iClimber, as social media marketing company.[9]
In 2010, he was named one of the San Fernando Valley Business Journal’s "Forty Under 40" award winners in 2010 for his achievements as a businessperson.
In 2013, Zarokian launched Reputation Stars, a reputation management company.[10][11]
Zarokian is also a writer for Search Engine Journal and Search Engine Watch publications.[12][13] He has also written for numerous other digital marketing publications and spoken at marketing and business tradeshows such as Search Engine Strategies, AdTech and PubCon.[14][15]
Personal life[edit]
Zarokian is married with 2 kids and lives in Los Angeles. Zarokian produces electronic music as a hobby, under the name Morphosonic.[16]
