PlayboyGatsby, known as Victor Villanueva, grew up in San Bernardino, California. He was surrounded by drugs, violence, and gangs, but he decided to go in another direction and turn his passion for music into an expression of what goes on in his hometown. Just at seven years old, PlayboyGatsby fell in love with the drums that his father gave him. PlayboyGatsby plays drums, piano, guitar, and bass. With EDM and rock music, which he grew up around, he learned how to DJ just at twelve years old from his uncle Rogelio.
