Plevo is an American travel and lifestyle brand that develops and produces technology world class travel products. [1] Led by founder, Federico Pelatti in New York City.

The brand launched a smart lugagge line (carry-on and checked luggage). The Plevo Series One, on the Crowdfunding websites, Kickstarter and Indiegogo in 2018. The campaign raised $410.000 USD in contributions after 45 days.[2] [3] Since its foundation in 2017, Plevo has raised $1.700.000 USD in financing. [4]

In October 2019, Plevo launched The B-One Series and D-One Series (Backpacks and Duffle Bags).

In 2020, the brand won the Red Dot Awards 2020 in the category Smart Product with The Plevo Series One, sharing the rank with other products such us the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro from Apple, the Honda e and the TA15 from Volvo.[5][6]

Products[edit]

Plevo produces technology world class travel products. The brand most known products are the suitcases from The Series One (Runner, Infinite and Up models). In February 2020, the New York Post described them saying: “These Kickstarter-funded suitcases solve your most annoying travel woes”.[7]

Their B-One and D-One Series (Backpacks and Duffle Bags) had great resonance as well. Sites like Yanko Design say that they “(…) seem to a wise investment in the name of secure travels”.[8]
