Plush Warfare
Plush Warfare is a Tabletop RPG/Fighting game crossover board game series created by Daniel Askelovic and is an Irish board game consisting of, as of now, three installments.
It is very popular in Dublin, Ireland where it was created. Many characters from movies, TV shows and games crossover in these games and uses plush merchandise to play this game as it's the main important element of Plush Warfare.
Gameplay
In these board games, two players place two plushies in a paper board facing each other if it's in a 1v1 default match and you control the plush toy to do attacks, only using moves from what the moveset was written on the instructions for that particular character. You must use a character from what is eligible in the game's instructions. You have a HP (Health Bar) as a paper strip for the character and use attacks to deplete it to 0 by filling in the rectangle on the paper strip and calculate the damage taken from the attack. To heal, you must rub out the graphite that was drawn on the strip and add back the numbers. The goal of matches is to use your strategy and attacks to defeat the other player; if either one loses, wins the match.
There are 3 types of stats: HP, Damage and Speed. HP is the health points of the player's plush and is what determines who wins or not. Damage is the power of the move itself and Speed is how fast a character is and determines who will go first.
Double Battles are 2v2 versions of matches which has 4 players placing 4 plushies in a square-like matchup on the board and some moves can affect other opponent's plushies.
Final Attacks is a key, powerful move that every character has in their moveset and is only used once when the user is at below half HP. These Final Attacks have devastating amounts of damage and can one-hit K.O. an opponent.
Abilities are effects that every character has and can enhance the user or harm the opponent in some way and some can have 2 abilities to choose from but can only use one at a time. Secret Abilities can be unlocked by leveling up your character every match until you reach a certain level. They can be an extra ability for that character.
