Pokétoon: The Pokémon Cartoon Animation is a short original net animation (ONA) series which is produced by multiple Japanese studios. This series started airing from 5th June, 2020 and it's exclusively streaming on Pokémon Kids TV Japan YouTube channel.

Zuruggu to Mimikkyu (ズルッグとミミッキュ, "Scraggy and Mimikyu") is the first short episode released on June 5, 2020. This short has Looney Tunes style animation.[1]

Hero ni Naritai Yancham (ヒーローになりたいヤンチャム, "The Pancham Who Wants to Be a Hero") is the second short episode released on May 2, 2021. Stop motion animation was used in this episode which is created by using Blender software.[3] Asaco Nasu narrated this episode.[4]
