History
Portland City were located in Portland, England. They played in the Second Division in 83/84 and they were third bottom in March 1984. Relegation seemed certain as they were trailing fourth bottom Criston Palace by 10 points (Sittingford also relegated that season). However they managed to finish 6th at the end of the season.
Veteran striker ‘’Knocker’’ Harford was among league’s top scorers in 83/84 while winger Tommy Edwards was very dangerous with his crosses. Portland City played in Second Division in 84/85.
