Hamyern are a fictional German football team in the British comic universe. The team have appeared in the We are United strip of Champ in 1984. The club’s name is a fusion referring to Hamburg FC and Bayern Munich.

History

In 82/83 Hamyern won the Cup in West Germany and qualified to next season’s Cup Winners Cup. In 83/84 they finished 2d in Bundesliga and reached the Cup final again but this time they lost. In May 1984 Hamyern won the Cup Winners Cup beating French side St.Rheils in the final by 2-1. The team’s centre-forward Felix Mueller scored 32 league goals in 83/84. In the summer of 1984, Hamyern played in the ‘’Mini European Nations Cup’’ in France, a 6-team friendly international tournament and were one of the favourites to win it. As Cup holders Hamyern qualified for Cup Winners Cup in the 84/85 season (Real Malona also played there)

In 1985-86 Everpool beat Hamyern 2-0 at Wembley with Bobby Marsh scoring both goals.[lower-alpha 1]
