Precision Nutrition is a professional nutrition education and health coaching company.[2][3][4] Founded in 2005 by John Berardi and Phil Caravaggio,[4][5] the company is headquartered in Toronto, Canada.[6]
Its main service is a nutrition coaching certification program[7] that provides fitness and health professionals with nutrition education. To date, the company has educated over 100,000 coaches.[4][8] Precision Nutrition also offers personal nutrition coaching delivered in an online format to individual clients,[3][9] and nutrition coaching software that offers remote client management for health and nutrition coaches.[3][10] Precision Nutrition has coached professional athletes, such as 2017 US Open winner Sloane Stephens[11] and UFC champion Georges St-Pierre.[12]

In 2015, Fast Company named Precision Nutrition one of the top 10 most innovative companies in fitness.[2]
In 2020, Men's Health placed Precision Nutrition co-founder John Berardi on their list of the most influential men in health and fitness.[4]
Nutrition coaching and education partnerships[edit]
Precision Nutrition has a partnership with The International Sports Sciences Association to provide nutrition certification and education to ISSA coaches and athletes.[13]
Precision Nutrition’s Level 1 certification qualifies for continuing education credits with CrossFit,[14] the American Council on Exercise (ACE),[15] the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM),[16] and the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM).[17]
