Probat
Probat is a German coffee roaster manufacturer and distributor.
Many cafes and coffee roasters use their roasters such as Café Demitasse and Stumptown.[1][2]
History
Probat built its first roaster at the Emmerich Machine Factory in 1920.[3][4]
During World War II, the company was wiped of their inventory with very little supplies surviving. The company fully recovered in 1949.[5]
They also were hosts of the Coffee Roasting Championship in 2016.[6] In 2022, they introduced Hydrogen powered roasters, including the P05 model.[7] That same year they introduced the 1000 NEPTUNE model.[8][9]
