PropertyAccess (Pty Ltd) is a real estate digital company in Southeast Asia that provides its users with real estate multi-listings, and intelligent data and analysis. The company connects real estate developers, agents, institutional/retail buyers and sellers, landlords, and tenants across Southeast Asia.

History[edit]

The company was founded by two Real Estate moguls: Hiroki Kazato, the chief executive officer, and Shiela Baylon, the chief revenue and partnership officer.

In 2010, Kazato founded his own company, Real Estate Mediation Transparency Forum Co., Ltd.. Soon, he sold his company to Sony Group and helped establish Sony Real Estate Co., Ltd. as a founding member and soon after as an executive officer. He is widely known in Japan as an expert in real estate trading and distribution.[2]

Baylon has extensive marketing and sales experience from Residential Projects to Townships in Real Estate Consultancy, Development, and Digital industries. She has done business in countries such as the Philippines, Singapore, China, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Japan, and has developed a deep knowledge and understanding of the Asian real estate industry.[2]

Under RE.A.PRA Ventures based in Singapore,[3] the company was incorporated and registered as Realforward on November 23, 2016.[4] In April 2017 the company changed its name into PropertyAccess and officially launched in Japan in November 2017.

Operations[edit]

PropertyAccess initially operated on an offline consultancy basis, connecting Japanese investors to real estate contacts in the Philippines, Malaysia, and Singapore. However, PropertyAccess.co, the online listing service, went live on April 18, 2018. It was officially launched in the Philippines on May 11, 2018, at a gathering in The Harlan + Holden Glasshouse, Rockwell Center, Makati City.[5]

As part of showcasing the Southeast Asian real estate market, PropertyAccess also organizes a series of conferences[6][7][8] alongside the annual Japan International Property Awards (JIPA).[9][10][11]
