R. Mutharasan is an Indian communist politician. In February 2015, he was elected the Secretary of Communist Party of India Tamil Nadu State Council.[1][2][3][4] He was the general secretary of the Tamil Nadu Agricultural Workers Union for 17 years.[5] He is also a member of the National Executive of Communist Party of India.[6]
