Rafael Pérez Evans (born November 15, 1983 in Málaga, Spain) is a Spanish – Welsh contemporary artist based in London.[1]. Pérez Evans work consists primarily of installation and sculpture using readymades, foods and live animals[2] and with them provoking a dialogue into ideas of the rural, alterity and the left overs of coloniality[3]. He has been exhibited in London, Madrid, Barcelona, Rio de Janeiro and Germany.
Pérez Evans was included in the 2019 New Contemporaries[4].
He run the Arts residency ‘Alto’ in the jungle of Chapada dos Viadeiros, Brasil[5]

Pérez Evans received his BFA from Goldsmiths College in 2010.
