Rahul Joseph R is a Travel blogger and Photographer from Kerala. Photography has been his hobby since childhood and he started with a basic Fujifilm digital camera and later specialised in Macro photography with his Sony Alpha camera. His love for Travel photography started recently and he has a Travel blog under the name "The Photoholic Nomad". His works have been published in various Magazines and websites.
Early life[edit]
Rahul was born to Rajeev Rajmohan and Antonia Rani in Thiruvananthapuram on March 19 1996. He grew up and completed his schooling in Thiruvananthapuram. He completed one year of B.E Industrial engineering and management in M.S Ramaiah institute of technology in Karnataka, He later dropped out to persue BSc.Visual communication at SRM university in Chennai.
Career[edit]
Rahul started photography as a Hobby using a basic digital camera. He started Macro photography as he was interested in Insects and wildlife from childhood. He started a travel blog called "The Photoholic Nomad" in 2018 where he shares all his travel stories and photos. Travelling has helped him learn more about photography and currently Travel photography is his favourite genre. He is a self-taught photographer who has developed his skills through experience and travel.He has an E-book published on Amazon Kindle titled "Macro photography simplified for beginners: the easiest guide to macro photography" that guides beginners to try macro photography using basic photography equipment. He currently uses a Sony Alpha camera. His works have been published in various photography magazines and few photographs has made it to the most favoured on the National Geographic YourShot platform. Currently he is a freelance photographer.
