Rahul Sebastian is an Indian entrepreneur known for his role as the Director of Sahyadri Ventures [1] and Sahyadri Resorts Private Limited.[2] He is also the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Tap and Go Information Technology, an IT firm based in Saudi Arabia that specializes in NFC-based digital solutions, catering to a global hospitality clientele.

Early life and education

Rahul was born in Kerala, India, and graduated with a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree from NIT Calicut.[citation needed]

Career

Rahul began his entrepreneurial journey by transforming a single hospitality venture into a distinguished chain of resorts that now includes Agraharam Resorts, Nelli Mud Village, Poomuttam, and a Zostel Homes franchise.[3] He co-founded Tap and Go in Saudi Arabia, which has grown to serve a broad international client base in the hospitality sector.

In 2020, Rahul also co-founded Lesson 21, an edtech startup that supported various educational institutions worldwide.[4] He played a key role in a collaborative project with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the Tata Centre for Innovation to develop a device for hearing-impaired individuals, further demonstrating his commitment to impactful technological solutions.
