Rajat Malhotra is an Indian motivational speaker and research scholar.[1] In 2021, he was appointed as the International Global Coordinator of Centre for Peace and Spirituality.[2][3]

Early life and education[edit]

Malhotra was born in Delhi, India. He holds an MBA degree and completed his Masters in Art in Islamic History from the University of Kerala. Malhotra earned his Ph.D. in 2019 in A Study of the Arabian Society After the Advent of Islam With Specific Reference to the Life of Prophet Muhammad from Mewar University in Rajasthan.[2][4]

Career[edit]

Malhotra has participated in several dialogues and forums to demonstrate the true face of Islam and promote interfaith harmony,[5][6] and has appeared in several programs which aired on Indian channels such as ETV Urdu and Zee Salaam.[2]

In 2001, Malhotra joined the Centre for Peace and Spirituality (CPS ) where he was mentored by its founder Wahiduddin Khan,[7][8][9][10] and became the International Global Coordinator for CPS.

Malhotra has traveled all over India and on many international trips together with Khan to many interfaith programs.[2][11] In 2009, Malhotra represented CPS as the International coordinator at the 2008 Mumbai attacks Anniversary Attack Program in Mumbai Trident Oberoi.[7]
