Rajiv Mishra ( राजीव मिश्रा ) is a well known media professional and founder of Electronic Media Rating Council of India. Rajiv Mishra did Masters in Broadcasting from International Academy of Broadcasting (IAB), Montreux, Switzerland, MBA in Media Management from MCNY, USA and a Graduate Certificate Course in Multi-Media from UCLA, USA.[2][dead link]

He had worked for Hindustan Times Group as Sub Editor, Star TV as Manager – Programming, Zee TV as Sr. Manager – Corporate, Reliance Infocomm Limited as General Manager – Corporate Affaires, News 24 (BAG Films and Media), as COO and Director, India News as COO, launched Times Now news channel of Times of India group in USA as India Now while working for CineMaya Media Inc. of USA.[3][unreliable source?]
Rajiv Mishra was with Lok Sabha TV as CEO in an official rank and status of Additional Secretary.[4][self-published source?] He is currently working with Amity TV as Editor-in-Chief, prior joining ETV-TV 18 News group, he was with Samsung as Vice-President & Head (South West Asia) for Media, Corporate Communications and, CSR. He was also the Spokesperson of Samsung. He writes article's on regular basis for all major News Paper's. Wrote several Book's as well. Philanthropy[edit]
Rajiv Mishra's family had donated over 1300 acres of land to the "Bhoodan Movement". He belongs to family of freedom fighters. His eleven close family members were very actively involved in freedom movement and none have sought for any government support.

Rajiv Mishra's family members are involved in public service. His father Late Shri Mritunjay Narayan Mishra[citation needed] a social activist, was very active in Mithilanchal, established several educational and social institution's/bodies all across Bihar. His elder uncle Late Shri Lalit Narayan Mishra was the Railway Minister of India. His younger uncle Dr. Jagannath Mishra has been Chief Minister of Bihar for three terms. His cousin Shri Nitish Mishra was a cabinet minister in Bihar. His Brother in Law Shri P. K. Thakur is DG Police, Bihar.
