Raken is a construction management software company founded in 2012, with headquarters in Carlsbad, California.

History

Founders Kyle Slager and Sergey Sundukovskiy both worked on construction projects over summer vacations in high school and college, inspiring them to build construction software with a mobile-first design that allowed for easier daily reporting in the field.[1]

In 2014, Raken launched the first version of their mobile app.[1][2]

In 2017, Raken raised $2 million in a seed round of funding.[3] In 2018, Raken raised $10 million in a first round of venture capital funding.[4]

Software

Raken’s cloud-based construction management software is used by superintendents, project managers, general contractors, subcontractors, and foremen to streamline project management and communication.[1] The software includes features for daily reporting, time tracking, production tracking, and safety management. [2]

Raken software integrates with several third-party softwares, including Procore, Sage 300 CRE, and Viewpoint Vista.[5]
