Rashtriya Hindi Mail (राष्ट्रीय हिंदी मेल) is a Hindi daily newspaper from Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. It was established by Vijay Kumar Das and started in Bhopal as a fortnightly in 1992. It then became a daily newspaper in Bhopal from 26 October 1996 with a circulation of 24,000 in the year 2007-08 and expanded to Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur[2] and Raipur.[3][4][5]
According to the annual reports published by Registrar of Newspapers for India, and Press Council of India, Rashtriya Hindi Mail has been involved in mass media since the year 1997.[6]
Activities
- Rashtriya Hindi Mail extended its support during Jan Satyagraha Samwad Yatra and State's Soil Struggles.[7]
- It actively participated in the workshop on "Communicating Science and Biosafety" by Indian Institute of Mass Communication[8]
- EC's were issued for the Newsprint in the year 2009-2010[9]
- Rashtriya Hindi Mail, Nav Bharat, Nai Dunia, Swadesh, and other Hindi daily newspapers raised concerns regarding the resolution to prevent the infiltration of English words in Hindi daily newspapers.[10]
