Ravi Kanojia (1982 − 9 May 2016)[1][2][3][4][5] was an Indian photographer and photojournalist. He worked with The Indian Express as a principal photographer in New Delhi.
Early life[edit]
Born in Ludhiana, Ravi Kanojia started his career with The Indian Express newspaper in 2002 from Ludhiana. In 2009 he was transferred to Delhi.[6]
Awards[edit]
He was honoured for creative excellence by the Press Council of India in 2014 for his coverage of displaced in the Muzaffarnagar riots.[7]
Death[edit]
He was electrocuted on railway tracks while on an assignment to cover a water train in the drought hit region in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh on 9 May 2016.[8]
