Ravinder Hans is an Indian Social Activist and belongs to the Aam Aadmi Party. He is a member of Phule Ambedkar Joint Action Committee represents Amritsar West.
Family
Ravinder Hans’ mother is a sweeper in Jalandhar, and he has 6 brothers and sisters. Ravinder Hans is known by his social activities, specially related to scheduled caste communities. Ravinder Hans belongs to the Valmiki caste. Ravinder Hans also took part in implementing Reservation in Guru Nanak Dev University during that time he was arrested by police, but was successful in implementing reservation in GNDU,AMRITSAR.
Social career
He strongly believes in Ambedkar ideology and is also a big fan of Kashi Ram Sahib (BSP). Kashi Ram Sahib and Ravinder Hans met in 1992. Ravinder Hans is also famous, and DCP, ADCP and ADCP Sahota are good friends of Ravinder Hans. Ravinder Hans also took part in the Moolnivasi Sangh as a speaker in various places. He also gave the slogan "Hum hai Bharat ke moolniwasi, means SC ST OBC." He has also read many books of Valmiki, Ravidas, Saint Kabir, Saint Naamdev, and Phule.
