Rayman Bowling is a bowling video game developed and published by Gameloft, released in 2003 for mobile phones.
Description[edit]
This bowling game is set in the Rayman universe. It follows the regular bowling game rules, but dynamics changes with the levels. Starting with a tutorial and a classic lane, you move on to nine more exotic environments, which are unlocked if you score a set amount of points in the previous levels. You are taken to forests, caves and volcanoes.
For each throw, you first have to determine the effect, then the direction and finally the speed. The cursor keeps moves steadily between the different options, so you have to time your choice. Some levels feature fixed or moving obstacles, such as a river, carpet, a bat or stones. If you touch these, the ball is lost.[1]
Gameplay[edit]
The character has a 140 range to throw the ball. First you move Rayman back and forth along the base of the lane until he's where you want him. Then, an arrow system pops up, and you have to carefully choose the proper trajectory to get the ball down the lane appropriately. Finally, a meter allows you to choose the amount of "oomph" you want behind the ball.[2]
