Razmik Papikyan (Armenian: Ռազմիկ Պապիկյան; born September 12, 1999, Yerevan, Armenia) is an Armenian freestyle wrestler.

Biography[edit]

Razmik Papikyan was born on September 12, 1999 in Yerevan.[1] Razmik Papikran was awarded the title of Master of Sports by the relevant orders of the President and Minister of the Republic of Armenia.[2] Razmik Papikyan achieved his first major achievement in the international arena in 2016 when he weighed 46 kg at the European Under-18 Freestyle Wrestling Championships in Stockholm, Sweden.[3] In 2019, at the age of 20, he became the winner of the Republic of Armenia in the weight category up to 61 kg in the weight category.[4] Razmik has won several important international competitions.[5]

Winner of the 2020 freestyle wrestling championship of the Republic of Armenia in the weight category up to 61 kg.

On 10 February 2021, Papikyan received the title of "Master of Sports" by the Armenian President and Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport.[6]

Achievements[edit]

Winner of the Youth Championship of the Republic of Armenia 2015-2016.[7] Silver medalist at the European Under-18 Championship in 2016.[8] Winner in the youth championships among youths U23 2019.

Winner of the Armenian Championship among adults 2019-2020.[9] Participant of the 5th World Cup 2020 (lost the match for 3rd place in the category up to 61 kg)
