The Xiaomi Redmi Note is an Android smartphone released by Xiaomi as part of the entry-level/mid-range Redmi brand. It was launched in March 2014 and a 4G variant was released in August. The phones were succeeded by Redmi Note Prime and Redmi Note 2 and 2 Prime in 2015.[4][5][6][7][8][9][10]

The Redmi Note was built with an plastic frame, a plastic back and Gorilla Glass 3 for the screen. The device is available in Black, White. It has loudspeakers, one located on the bottom edge and the other doubling as the earpiece. A microUSB 2.0 port is used for charging.

The Redmi Note uses the Mediatek MT6592 (28 nm) system-on-chip, Octa-core 1.4/1.7 GHz Cortex-A7 CPU, Mali-450MP4 GPU with 1 GB / 2 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage.
The Redmi Note has a 3100 mAh battery.
The Redmi Note features a 5.5-inch 720p IPS LCD display with Gorilla Glass 3. The display has a 16:9 aspect ratio.
The Redmi Note includes single rear-facing cameras. The 28 mm f/2.2 lens 13-megapixel sensor. It is capable of recording 4K video at 30 or 60 fps.
