René Ponte (A Coruña, Galicia; May 9, 1991), better known by his stage name Rene ZZ, is a Spanish YouTuber[1][2][3] and Designer,[4] most known for uploading humorous and informative content dedicated to tattoos on his YouTube[5] channel which currently has more than 800,000 subscribers and his Facebook page[6] with more than 1,130,000 fans.
Biography[edit]
René Ponte was born in A Coruña, Galicia in 1991. In his teens, he moved to Barcelona with his family, where he worked as a designer and content creator for several companies, a job that he decided to leave to be able to fully dedicate himself to his YouTube career[7] several years later.
Career[edit]
Rene ZZ started his YouTube channel in 2019 with an informative and humorous touch, mainly on topics related to the world of tattoos and other topics of more general interest such as art history, psychology or memes. In addition to explaining tattoo styles, critiquing them and interviewing champions of body modification like The Black Alien,[8] he also focuses on showing his bodysuit project (tattooing the entire body) in vlog format.[9] In three years on YouTube he has gathered a total of more than 800,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel and more than 1,130,000 on his Facebook page, in addition on Instagram, Twitter, Tik-Tok and Twitch with more than 2,500,000 followers adding all his social networks.
