The Fraternal Order of Classy Gentlemen: Sigma Rhomeo, Incorporated. ( F.O.C.G. ΣR ) On the campus of Prairie View A&M University on March 24, 1980 a group of men were organized to form a independent social fraternity. By the mid 1990s F.O.C.G. had incorporated themselves and continue to grow and strive for success. The organization is made up of multicultural men from all walks of life and are known as simply “Rhomeos”.

History[edit]

On March 24, 1980, six men on the campus of Prairie View A&M University made the decision that to organize a fully functional fraternity with an independently sovereign government. TSigma Rhomeos, founded their new fraternity on the ideals of dedication, responsibility, and scholarship.[citation needed]

The fraternity is a non-profit whose aim is to enhance the quality of life within the community. Public service, leadership development and the education of youth are the hallmark of the organization's programs and activities.[citation needed]

The Fraternal Order of Classy Gentlemen: Sigma Rhomeo, Inc. has 5 active undergraduate and alumni chapters throughout the United States.[citation needed]
