Richie Castaldo (born December 2, 1981) is an American Minister, Father, and political candidate who ran for office of U.S. Representative for Oklahoma's 2nd congressional district in 2018 and 2020. Richard is a defender of Home Schooling, liberty for all, and serving his community of Afton,Oklahoma

Richie Pastors GrandLakeLife Church, which he launched in 2015 in partnership with Life.Church a organization in Oklahoma City.[1]

Education[edit]

Richie graduated from Grove Public Schools in May of 2000 (K-12). He received his Associates from NEO A&M in Miami and his Bachelors in Business Administration from Oklahoma Wesleyan University in Bartlesville. He is currently a student of Global Grace University for a Masters in Biblical Counseling.[2]

Political career[edit]

Richie is a member of the Libertarian Party and a lifetime member of the Libertarian Party of Oklahoma. As Such he ran for U.S. Representative for Oklahoma's 2nd congressional district in 2018. The race was a 4 way election. Richie received 4,140 votes, or 1.9% of the total ballots cast.

[3] It was the first time a registered Libertarian was on the ballot as such for this seat. As the Libertarian Party only formally gained ballot access under Oklahoma's strict party ballot access laws in 2016. [4] [5]

Richard is running once again in 2020 for the same seat of office, the election will be held on November 3, 2020. The Election this time will be a three-way race against a Republican Incumbent, and a Democratic challenger.[6]

Personal Life[edit]

Richie is a Christian, and a father of two, Elisha and Isaiah. His wife, Kathy is a traveling nurse (R.N.). For the last two years she served a contract on the Navajo Reservation in New Mexico
