Career[edit]

2017 - Present: HIVEMIND TV[edit]

Savage launched HIVEMIND TV with Weaver in 2017, envisioning it as a platform to uplift and spotlight local music talents. Their initial foray into the YouTube sphere involved producing music videos and conducting interviews with local musicians, giving viewers a firsthand insight into the world of underground music. In 2018, expanding on their initial format and capitalizing on the burgeoning podcast trend, the duo introduced a podcast segment on their channel. This podcast primarily centered around discussions on renowned artists, dissecting new album releases and delving into the nuances of the contemporary music scene.

In 2020, HIVEMIND TV experienced a dramatic surge in popularity. Savage and Weaver unveiled the Cartoon Puns series, a unique blend of illustration and humor that eventually became a hallmark of the channel. This innovative content format not only amplified their viewership but also paved the way for their current content style. Taking cues from the success of Cartoon Puns, the channel subsequently transitioned to music-centric guessing games interspersed with comedic skits. This amalgamation of music and humor not only broadened their appeal, but also solidified HIVEMIND TV's position as a distinctive presence in the YouTube music community.

2018: Bankteller Cover[edit]

In September 2018, Savage's prowess as an illustrator was further recognized when he was reached out to by rapper Desto Dubb and asked to draw the album cover for the single Bankteller, which featured prominent artists such as 03 Greedo, Lil Pump, Lil Uzi Vert, and Smokepurpp. The request came with a tight turnaround - a mere 24 hours before the single's release. Rising to the challenge, Savage committed to an all-nighter, meticulously crafting the cover art that would represent the collaborative single[4]. His dedication and ability to produce under pressure resulted in a piece that resonated with the music's vibe and further solidified his reputation in the music and graphic design industries.

2022 - Present: HIVEMIND UNLIMITED[edit]

In August 2022, recognizing the potential to diversify and tap into a wider audience, Savage and the HIVEMIND-team launched a second YouTube channel aptly named HIVEMIND UNLIMITED. While the original channel leans heavily into music-centric content, HIVEMIND UNLIMITED veers more towards the realm of comedy.

The content on this secondary channel encapsulates HIVEMIND TV's flair for humor, with videos that include entertaining tier lists and engaging brackets on a multitude of topics. These formats, popular in the YouTube community for their interactive and opinion-driven nature, allowed HIVEMIND TV to further showcase their comedic insights and knack for relatable content.
