Ritwik Mallik
Ritwik Mallik is an Indian author. He is known for the novels Love Happens Like That, Anyone Else But You and Because You Loved Me..
Early life
Ritwik was born and brought up in Darjeeling, West Bengal. Later, he completed his schooling from DPS Noida and is currently pursuing his undergraduate studies at Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies.
Career
Ritwik's first novel, *Love Happens Like That* was published in 2010 by Srishti Publishers & Distributors, New Delhi. It was followed by its sequel, *Because You Loved Me..* in 2011. Both stories were based in a high school, a relatively new theme for writers. His third novel, *Anyone Else But You* was released in 2012 and dealt with the sensitive matter of bullying and fat-shaming in Indian high schools. It was co-written by Ananya Verma.
Personal life
Ritwik lives in Kolkata and draws a lot of inspiration from the life of his late paternal grandfather and considers former Indian Cricketer, Sourav Ganguly to be his role model.
He is the grand nephew of Bengali actor, Ranjit Mallick.
