Rocket Health clinic is a Ugandan telemedicine health provider, pharmaceutical and life sciences company in Uganda.[1][2][3] Headquartered in Kampala, Rocket Health's areas of business include human pharmaceuticals; consumer healthcare products.[4][5] The company is a component of the Medical Concierge Group (TMCG).[6] Davis Musinguzi has been CEO since 2018.[7][8]

Rocket Health was founded in August 2018[7][10] by Dr Davis Musinguzi together with Dr John Mark Bwanika, Dr. Hope Fortunate, Dr Lubega William won $50,000 in startup financing from the Warid Entrepreneurship Fund to start TMCG, which later gave birth to Rocket Health.[1][5] Rocket Health has over 80 employees.[7][11][12]

Rocket Health was founded in 2018 by Davis Musinguzi, John Mark Bwanika , William Lubega, Hope Achiro, and Fiona Nuwamanya after winning the Microsoft Imagine Cup Award in 2012.[11][3] Then got into an East African TV show competition, Inspire Africa and won $50.000 in startup financing from the Warid Entrepreneurship Fund to start The Medical Concierge Group.[1][13]
Partnership[edit]
In 2020, Rocket Health made a partnership with UAP Old Mutual insurance to extend services for medical insurance members by adding telemedicine as a benefit for the members.[1][7][2][6]
