Roger H. Gold (Born November 16, 1969) is an American music executive[1] and co-founder of 300 Entertainment..[2][3][4] He is currently the manager of Cuban-American singer pop singer Camila Cabello.[5]

Career[edit]

Gold began his career at Warner Music Group in 1996 where he held positions as a senior transactional attorney and the senior vice president of the Office of the Chairman and CEO and COO for worldwide recorded music [1]. During his time at Warner Music Group, Gold established the Independent Label Group (ILG).[6][7][8] and created a video advertising platform with MTV Networks. Gold left Warner Music Group in 2012 [6][7][8]

In 2012, Gold, along with Lyor Cohen, Kevin Liles and Todd Moscowitz, co-founded the independent record label 300 Entertainment [9][10][11][12][13], whose roster includes acts across multiple genres such as hip-hop, rock, pop, electronic, alternative, and country including Megan Thee Stallion [4][14], Young Thug [14][15], Fetty Wap [14][15][13], Cheat Codes [15][13], and more.

Gold was hired by Merlin Network, a global digital rights agency, in 2013 to assist in strategic commercial and licensing activities in the United States for independent labels.[1][6][7][8]. During which time, he helped to create an historic licensing deal with YouTube for the agency [6][7][8]

He’s currently the artist manager for pop singer Camila Cabello.[5]

In 2019, Gold was named to Billboard’s 2018 (6) and 2019 Indie Power Players list[16]

Personal Life[edit]

Gold has two children, Talia and Jesse, with his wife Pamela. He earned his J.D. from New York Law School in 1996.
