Music Career
2012-Present: Career beginnings
He started listening to hip hop music at the age of 12 years old, when he was in grade 6.
After high school he put music on hold and had to look for a job to make ends meet, working at a municipality as a general cleaner, but still had his heart set on music.
In 2014 he met local rappers who were busy with a mixtape and were looking for featuring artists, which Rollie was called to do, which unfortunately didn’t make it to the mixtape’s final edit.
But the producer of Fscee Tag said he was good and he would need more studio time. The producer gave him time to record for free. Rollie recorded a mixtape called ‘Rain of Terror’ but it wasn’t released.
Around 2015, April he lost his brother Mpho to a brain tumor which also affected his mother. He then lost his mother to an illness which led him to get back to recording again.
He then began recording ‘Trapman Tony’ through his depression. Then took some time off to mourn the family deaths.
In 2016 he attended a 3 day conference at Tshwane show grounds hosted by Uhuru music.
He then reached out to Tre in 2017 for help, and officially met him in 2019. Tre went on to help Rollie by releasing ‘Bhari’ and ‘Trapman Tony’ to all digital stores through TnT Corporation's in-house distribution company.
