Ronald J Forbes Stadium is an Athletics and Football stadium located in Northside, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands[2]. The Playing Field was originally opened by the then, Minister for Sports Juliana O’Connor-Connolly in April 2000. After the destruction caused by Hurricane Ivan, the facility had to be completely refurbished. It was re-opened by then-Minister for Sports Alden McLaughlin in April 2009. The Athletics and Football stadium formally known as the ‘Old Man Bay Playing Field’ was officially renamed on Saturday 9th December 2017 as the ‘Ronald J Forbes Playing Field’ after the Cayman Islands 3 Time Olympian Hurdler and two-time Olympic opening ceremony flag bearer Ronald J Forbes[3]. Seating Capacity for this stadium is 1000 and consists of 4 Track Lanes and Football/Soccer Field.
