Rosario Boscacci (born June 6, 1950) is a Swiss real estate developer, entrepreneur, philanthropist and writer. He is a Swiss native from Canton of Ticino,[1] the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland.
Biography
Childhood
Boscacci was born in the town of Pully, Canton de Vaud, Switzerland. In an interview for the Swiss magazine Agefi, Rosario talks about a difficult childhood. His education took place in 4 countries and 16 schools.[2] The difficulties caused by these frequent changes forced him to develop a strong sense of adaptability and a certain methodological approach.
Entering adulthood
Rosario Boscacci married at the age of 19 and became a father by his 20th birthday.
During the general assembly of the Société Vaudoise des Sciences Naturelles on December 10, 1973, he was received as a doctor in ethology.[3]
At the age of 24, he started a career in intelligence services. He then became an advertiser in Africa and a member of the board in a private bank based in Geneva, Switzerland.
He also worked with a private investigation firm as a consultant on foreign missions for the Swiss police authorities.
Following this, in the 1980s, he took part in the commonly known "golden age" of Swiss real estate.[2] In 1990, he took over the management of Cinécran, a movie theater in Crans-Montana, Switzerland. He participated in the production of "Netchaïev est de retour",[4] directed by Jacques Deray with Yves Montand as the main actor.
Fields of activity
Real estate
Rosario Boscacci heads up Attica Promotions.[5] A company, founded in 2021, whose purpose is, but is not limited to, the construction, advisory, buying, selling and brokerage in the real estate field. To date, he has developed more than 50 real estate projects.
In this company, he pursues the idea of artisan-made fine aesthetics. Working on multiple projects in Switzerland, he also develops projects in Seychelles,[2] Argentina, France, Portugal, Uganda, Myanmar, Dominican Republic and Belgium.
Hotel and restaurant
In 2016, he established Attica Résidences SA,[6] the company currently managing a hotel of the same name in St-Sulpice, canton de Vaud,[4] Switzerland.
Between 1989 and 1999, he co-owned the Michelangelo restaurant in Crans-Montana, Switzerland.
Humanitarian
In 1999, he created the foundation AClem,[7] a foundation helping children in need. The foundation’s good deeds are focused mainly in Myanmar, Uganda, Tanzania (Zanzibar) and Kenya. Rosario heads the board of trustees.[2]
Art
Established in 2012, the company Attica Art[8] whose purpose is to buy, sell and exhibit contemporary and ethnic art pieces. Through this company, he collaborates closely with Bull & Stein.[4]
Writing
As a member of the Association Vaudoise des Écrivains (AVE), he wrote and published six collections of aphorisms between 1992 and 2022.[9]

Important events
Real estate crisis and personal reconstruction
In the early 90s, a crisis hit and deeply impacted the field of real estate in Switzerland. Rosario, therefore, decided to switch focus to new projects in the Alps.[2]
During that period, he discovered new hobbies such as writing and contemporary art. During this period, he wrote several collections of poems and aphorisms.[2]
Private life
Rosario Boscacci tells the media that fatherhood is his life’s guiding principle. Married since he was 19 years old, he is the father of 5 sons, the last of whom was born just before his 60th birthday.[2]
Rosario has travelled to 183 countries.[1]
