Rufai Waris
Rufai Waris Olanrewaju (born May 13, 1995), commonly known for his stage name as Starmade is a Nigerian singer,[1] songwriter and MC.
Early life and education
He was born as the second child out of three, in Sagamu, Ogun State in Nigeria where he was raised. After his secondary education in Ogun State, he moved to China to continue his education at Shenyang Jianzhu University in 2014.[2]
Career
He made his entry into music and started to sing in Chinese, with emceeing and performing in bars and clubs.[3] In 2020, he traveled to Kampala, Uganda, an East African State where he recorded his first E.P called Made In Kampala, produced by Ugandan producers Century Vybz and King Rashawn, which was released on June 7, 2021.[4] He shared the same stage with Kizz Daniel, Ruger, Adekunle Gold and Costa Titch.[citation needed] In 2022 he released the singles Bomb and Summer.[5][unreliable source?]
