Innocent Ebinyo Victor (born 19 December, 1986)[2] popularly known as HHS (Hot-Hot-Swagger) is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and dance model. He became popular with the release of his debut album "Ghetto President, VOL.1" (2019), with top features including Buffalo Souljah[3], Oritse Femi among other African acts.[4]
Background and Education
Victor, the seventh child of Chief Victor Ebinyo and second child of his mother, Rt Madame Clarina Akele hails from Bayelsa. He was raised with a military background[5], due to both parents being active members in the Nigerian Army. He attended Military (school two) Military barracks, Yaba, before attending Ajara Government College. Victor transferred from Ajara Government College to Federal Science and Technical College, Ijaniki, to complete his secondary education. After completing his secondary education, he enrolled for a pre-degree program at the Ambrose Ali University in social science, where after he moved on to start a diploma at Tai Solarin in social sciences. He left his studies at the Tai Solarin University due to threats and harassment from cultists to start a degree in Petroleum engineering at the Niger Delta University. In the third year of his studies at the Niger Delta University, he moved to South Africa, enrolling in Northwest University to study radio communications.
Career
Being a member of St Luke's Military Church[6] with his parents, he started off in the church choir as a soprano singer. Touring as the youngest member of the group, he was nicknamed "Little David".
He actively began his career in 2015, while at the Tai Solarin University, before having to move to Niger State University where he continued creating music and was accosted by Oriste Femi's record label MSN (Money Stops Nonsense), after featuring on a track Ile-Aiye[7] in 2016, but refused the offer. He also turned down offers from HND (Hope Never Die), in 2017 and Abu Abel's record label in 2018.
After turning down the offers, and moving to South Africa, he decided to focus on creating his own record label HHS Media under which he released his first solo-album Ghetto President VOL.1[8] in 2019 and Ghetto to Ibiza in 2020. With the release of his solo-album, HHS began to gather popularity among other Nigerian musical talents[9], as his featured track Shope with Oritse Femi[10][11] and Ile-Aiye reached the number ten spot on Channel O countdown of the year in 2018.[12]
