The Florida Rugged Maniac 5K Obstacle Course event has been held annually in Florida since 2011. The event currently takes place at the Little Everglades Ranch in Dade City, Florida, United States, on April 23, 2016.

2016[edit]
Rugged Maniac Florida 2016 was held in the Little Everglades Ranch in Dade City, Florida. The course featured 25 obstacles over a length of 5 kilometers, highlighted by a 50-foot-tall water slide.[1]
Exhibition booths were onsite by local sponsors: Sun State Greyhound Adoption Center, OrangeTheory Fitness, Crunch Fitness, Haka Fitness, Ramada Zephyrhills, Funds2Orgs, Power Crunch, Warrior Pak, Beef O'Brady's, Brass Tap Dade City, Dude Wipes, AdvoCare, Camp Gladiator, LCS Squadron Two, KnockerBall Lakeland LLC, US Army Recruiting Wesley Chapel Station, and Mud Run Videos.[2]
2015[edit]
In 2015, Jared Rivenburg and Joanna Giesey won the male and female champion titles, respectively.[3]
2011[edit]
Rick Copley, of Eustis, Florida, won his first Rugged Maniac title at the inaugural Florida event. He later went on to win his second title of the year in Southwick, Massachusetts.[4]
