SMU Greenhouse, commonly known as "The Greenhouse", is a co-working space housed within the SMU Connexion. Opened in 2020[1], The Greenhouse overlooks the Fort Canning Tunnel and sits between two buildings, the Yong Pung How School of Law and the SMU Accountancy Building. It is accessible, given its proximity to City Hall MRT, Dhoby Ghaut MRT, Bras Basah MRT and Bencoolen MRT.
Startups accepted within the Business Innovations Generator Incubation Program (BIG) are given 9 month access to The Greenhouse[2]. The Greenhouse provides shared resources such as meeting rooms, internet access and office equipment within the space.[3] The iconic moss mall provides greenery within the co-working space[4] while the large glass windows lets in natural light. A number of events are organized at The Greenhouse every month.
