Sadat is an interchange station on Cairo Metro Line 1 and Cairo Metro Line 2, located in Tahrir Square at the heart of downtown Cairo, Egypt. It is named after former president Anwar Sadat.
Sadat is one of the most important and busiest stations in the Cairo Metro network due to its central location and direct connection to major government buildings, institutions, and cultural landmarks.
Location
Sadat station is situated beneath Tahrir Square and connects key parts of central Cairo. It lies between Saad Zaghloul and Nasser on Line 1, and between Opera and Shohadaa on Line 2.

History
