Sam Miller (born 1998), better known online as Sam O'Nella Academy, is an educational American YouTuber.

Personal life[edit]

Not much is known about his early life, but it is known he was a fan of the Punk Rock genre and a fan of Iron Maiden.[1]

Miller created his YouTube account on June 13, 2016. That same day, Miller uploaded his first video The Fire — Miscellaneous Mondays. In this video, Miller told the story of a giant fire he saw as a kid.[2]

Originally, Miller meant have a daily schedule of videos. However, on June 24, 2016, Miller uploaded a video on poisonous foods, and this was his last daily video as the majority of videos would take too long to create and research.[3]

Millar was a finalist at the 11th Shorty Awards in 2019.[4][5]

Miller's last video before taking a hiatus, World War II's Unluckiest Ship[6], was uploaded on January 29, 2020.

In January 2022, Miller's video Where Religious Symbols Come From was shown at the Excel Academy, provoking complaints from parents about the use of expletives language and visuals of sex toys.[7]

On October 3rd of 2022, Miller returned with a tweet stating "k im back". Miller then uploaded a video titled Where Animals' Scientific Names Come From.[8]
