Sam Tate (born December 21, 1977) is an American actor, tap dancer, and singer. He is currently best known for Buck Trouble Trollie in Trollies Radio Show since 2003. He’s also best known as Sammy, the male auburn-haired american band/group member of the Digitalin of the PBS children's television series Square One Television during its entire five-year run.
Early Life and career[edit]
Sam Tate was born on December 21, 1977, in Nashville, Tennessee, to his father and veterinarian, Billy (born August 16, 1937), was 40 and his mother, singer, actress and the member of pop group The Tate Sisters, Lucy, (born August 16, 1939) was 38. He is the seventh child of ten children of Lucy and Billy.
He began acting as a baby boy in the same year of 1977. He began tap dancing in his age of 4 in December 6, 1982.
He appeared on the 1986 episode of PBS’s Melba Huber’s World, which aired on December 6, 1986, 15 days before his ninth birthday and he was 8 years old, talking about his tap shoes.
In October 1, 1987, Sam Tate (age 8) began singing and dancing along with 1967’s Mad Monster Party that first broadcast on Nickelodeon on TV and his mother made her film debut when she was 26 in 1966.
As Sammy, Tate at his age 8 on Square One Television. He was awarded an Emmy of Honor in 1993 for her work on the series. Tate sang on the Grammy Award-winning 1987 soundtrack album of Square One Television as well. Tate said he named his Digital character Sammy after her idol at the time, Sammy Davis Jr.
During Square One Television, Sam Tate (age 10) appears as Buck Ghost who died from coughing pneumonia on 1954, a character appeared in Mystery Magical Special on Nickelodeon on October 29, 1988, Also starring Marc Summer, Shiri Appleby, Jonathan Brandis, Trenton Teigen, John Astin and Jane Milner (who born on January 15, 1962 in Dallas, Texas)

Since 2003, Buck Trouble Trollie in the three franchise Trollies Radio Show, Where will my feet take me today? and Wiggly World.
Since August 2, 2003, Buck Trouble Trollie in PBS WNPT’s longest running musical sketch-comedy Trollies Radio Show. Sam as his role of Buck in the debut Halloween direct-to-video film Trollies All New Musical Adventure (2003) and since his debut season on TV, Sam as role of Buck in the third season of Trollies Radio Show that he first appeared on November 23, 2003.
