Sammy & Sue Go Green Too! is the first in a series of children's books by Suzanne "Sue" Corso and her daughter, Samantha "Sammy" Corso, intended to raise awareness about environmentally friendly living.
The book includes a glossary which aims to explain the more complicated scientific vocabulary to children; the book is aimed at five- to nine-year-olds.[1] The book is also available in Braille.[2]
There is a companion virtual world, Sammy & Sue's Green World, with educational games, on the Sammy & Sue website.[3] A television pilot is being developed and will be airing in the winter of 2009-10.[4]
In 2009, New York Women's Agenda selected the book for its fourth annual New York Reads Together program.[5]
