Samuel Irie (born November 26, 1999) is an Ivorian footballer who plays as a forward for Spanish football club Águilas FC.[3][4][5]
Club career
Sporting Gagnoa
Born in Serihio Gagnoa, Ivory Coast, Irie initially played with the Sporting Gagnoa' youth team, before being promoted to the first team.
Kaduna United
In January 2017, Irie joined Nigeria Professional Football League outfit Kaduna United F.C. on a one-year contract.[6]
Kyrgyzstan
In January 2018, he agreed to join Alga Bishkek.
Thailand
After a season at Alga Bishkek, Irie was released and started training with Thai lower division side Bankhai United. On 1 January 2019, he signed for Bankhai United until the end of the 2019–20 season.
Maldives
With few weeks to end the 2019-2020 transfer window in Maldives, he joined Maldives top-flight side Valencia on January 1, 2020. He was instrumental at the club eventually, leading the Maldives club to clinch the Maldives 2nd Division League title in 2020.[7][8][9][10]
Spain
On 30 July 2020, it was announced that Irie would be joining Spanish side Águilas FC for the 2020–2021 season.[11][12]
