Search Sandy's Basics In Education And Learning on Amazon.Sandy's Basics In Education And Learning is a survival horror video game developed and published by American-Australian indie developer Gibson Batty, also known as his online name PoleboyA113. The game was the sixth installment in the Sandy's Basics series, as a part of the animated web series. The game focuses on an unseen/unnamed protagonist that has to find all 7 notebooks for their friend all while avoiding a teacher named Sandy.
Plot[edit]
The protagonist gets ready for school when he recieves a text message from his friend. He forgot his notebooks at the schoolhouse and doesn't have time to go get them. Because if he does he'll be late for wrestling practice. So he asks his friends to go and get them. Once the player gets there, Sandy, the headteacher, asks the player math questions every time they get a notebook, with the reward of a prize if they answer them all correctly. After asking the player with impossible math problems, Sandy will start to chase them when they don't answer them correctly. The player is ordered to continue to find all the other notebooks while also avoiding other characters. If the player stupidly chooses to get every problem wrong, they will get an alternate ending which includes a corrupted version of Sandy and another weird character forcing the player to destroy the game, before the game closes all by itself.
Gameplay[edit]
The player must find all seven notebooks without being slaughtered by Sandy. Other characters try to hinder the player by forcing them to be included in strange activities. Each notebook contains three problems, but the last question is unsolvable in the second notebook. As the player still keeps to fail the impossible questions, Sandy's speed increases even more and becomes impossible to stay away from.
Once the player finds all the notebooks, Sandy will congratulate them before raging at the player to get out. There are three fake exits and one that will let the player escape, and the player has to trigger all of them before they can evacuate using the real exit.
The player can obtain items around the school, as an energy flavored zesty bar that keeps their stamina from draining, a drink that can be used to push NPCs away, some scissors that can destroy only two of the obstacles.
Development and release[edit]
The game was made as a mod of Baldi's Basics. It became popular for its humor and difficulty. A Popular YouTuber titled "BraidenLox" made a video on the game, helping to boost its popularity.
Sequel[edit]
Sandy's Basics: Chapter Two[edit]
A sequel, Sandy's Basics: Chapter Two, was released on Microsoft Windows on May 24, 2022.
Similar to the game Granny, the player is trapped in a house. Sandy's Basics: Chapter Two also introduces a more intimidating version of Sandy.
There are several items and weapons in the game, and in order to the front door escape, the player can also escape via car. Two monsters also proceed as a threat to the player, the spider, and the crow.
