Sandy popularly known as Sandy Master is an Indian choreographer, dancer and actor who works primarily in Tamil cinema and television.

Career[edit]

Sandy started his career as a choreographer in the famous dance show Maanada Mayilada Season 1 telecasted in Kalaignar TV in 2005. The show was hosted by Kala Master who is his guru gave him an opportunity to choreograph a team in the first season. He choreographed Sathish Krishnan and Jayashree[1] throughout the season and ended up as the winners of the season. He was also seated in the panel of judges in various seasons of Maanada Mayilada. He is one of the judges in Kings of Dance season 2.[2] He worked as a choreographer for The Tleugu and Kannada language shows "Challenge Show" and "Kuniyona Bara".[3]

He started his choreography career in Tamil film industry through the film Aaah in 2014. Later he choreographed Viraivil Isai, Ivanukku Thannila Gandam and Vaalu[4] in 2015. He also choreographed for movies like Vaalu, Saagasam, and Jithan 2 and Gethu.[5] He further went on to choreograph songs for Rajnikanth in Kaala movie.[6]

As an actor, Sandy made his debut in the movie Ivanuku Thannila Gandam, a Tamil comedy film featuring Deepak, Rajendran, Sendrayan and Elango Kumaravel.

In 2019, Sandy appeared in the Tamil reality television show Bigg Boss Tamil 3 on Star Vijay. He was the second contestant to enter into finals.[7][8]
