Sapienza Travel
Sapienza Travel is a cultural tour operator in Britain. It specialises in small group tours, classical music festivals, singing holidays and painting holidays. All tours are led by experts in their respective fields.
History[edit]
Sapienza Travel was founded by Charles Barber who previously worked for The Economist and LexisNexis. Charles holds a Bachelors of Law from The University of Edinburgh and an MA in Renaissance Studies from The University of London. He is continuing his research into the Italian Renaissance at The Courtauld Institute of Art.
Sapienza Travel's main focus is the organisation of small group escorted tours [1], led by a lecturer who is an expert in their field. Among them is Janis Kelly, the soprano who has sung on the stages of the world's leading opera houses. Tim Wright, the artist who taught Timothy Spall to paint for the movie Mr Turner, is the tutor on our painting holidays.
