Sarath Kumara de Silva is the Chairman Cey-Nor Foundation Limited and former Chairman of State Engineering Corporation (SEC) in Sri Lanka [1][2]
Early life and education[edit]
He attended Nalanda College Colombo, for his primary and secondary education and passed out with a Civil Engineering degree with Honours from University of Peradeniya. He also holds a post-graduate Diploma in Concrete Technology and M.Sc in Structural Engineering at Imperial College of Science and Technology, University of London in Uinited Kingdom. Sarath Kumara De Silva is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka and also a Senior Certified Valuer.
Career[edit]
He is one of Sri Lanka’s prominent civil engineers having a career span of 42 years.[according to whom?] One of his unique engineering projects were the design of Kalutara Bodhiya.[citation needed]
