Sattari Jame Mosque or Sattari Jame Masjid (Bengali:সাতটারী জামে মসজিদ) is one of the largest mosques or worship places in Malda district in the state of West Bengal India. It is one of the popular places listed under Non-government organization in Malda[1]. Its main use is for Jummah Namaz (Friday prayer).
History
The mosque was first built by poor people or villagers. Then, in the early year 2013, the old Mosque was torn down and rebuilt in its current form in 2014, and its construction was completed very soon.
Geography
Sattari Jame Masjid is located in Malda district. It is located 15 km from the district headquarters, English Bazar[2].
Facilities
Sattari Jame Masjid has a two-floor building. It has five entrance gates and a large parking area in front of the Mosque. It has an electric generator system for when the electric line is off. This mosque spreads Islamic knowledge through its leader for Muslims[3].
