Savant Pharm is a pharmaceutical company dedicated to the development, manufacture and commercialization of medicines, founded in 1993, in Arroyito, Córdoba. It belongs to the VIRIXENE´s pharmaceutical group.
History[edit]
FABOP Laboratories[edit]
The origin of the company dates back to the end of 1993 when Mauro Gastón Bono founded the company in Arroyito, Córdoba Province, Argentina.
SAVANT[edit]
In 2002, the Industrial Complex was opened in the town of El Tío, Córdoba, and in 2005 the company name evolved into SAVANT.
In 2013, the facilities were expanded and the soft-gel capsule site was opened,[1] turning SAVANT into the first laboratory of soft-capsule manufacture in Argentina.
With the aim of encouraging the commercial development in 2014, the Corporate Headquarters were opened in Buenos Aires.[2]
In 2015, Laboratorios NAF[3] was acquired, leader in odontology prevention, with more than 30 years in the market and, in 2017, with the acquisition of Laboratorios Szama[4], the dermatology line was added .
Since 2017, SAVANT started expanding within the region by opening branches in Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay.
Currently[edit]
SAVANT counts with medicines for health daily care and for the treatment of acute and chronic diseases.
The main brands are Fabogesic, Fluorogel, Gripaben and Tostop.

· 2017. For the fifth consecutive year, inclusion in the “100 Best Companies Ranking”, Fortuna Magazine”.[10]
· 2022. Fortuna Award for being “the best health company”.[11]
