Saveena Bedi Sachar is an Indian advocate who practices before the Supreme Court of India, Bombay High Court and several other courts, Forums and Tribunals including the Competition Commission of India, Consumer Courts, Company Law Board, NCLT and TDSAT and International Arbitrations across US and Europe. She is the founder and managing partner of Lawhive Associates.[2]

Background and Family[edit]

Saveena Bedi Sachar was born into a Sikh family in Pune. Her father, Mr. Tejpal Singh Bedi, is a businessman in Pune. Her mother, Anita Bedi, owns the famous Paradise Café and Resorts in Mulshi, Pune. Her brother Jatinpal Singh Bedi, is also an advocate based out of Pune. She did her schooling at St. Mary’s High School in Pune and completed her BA LLB from Bharati Vidyapeeth, New Law College, Pune. She later completed her specialization from the prestigious World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). She is married into the well-known and highly respected Sachar family based out of Mumbai.

Career[edit]

Specialist in Media and New Media segment having more than 13 years of hands on work experience in leading Indian and Multinational Media / New Media and Advertising companies viz. Walt Disney, UTV, Indiagames, Star TV, INX Media (9X, 9XM and NewsX), Ogilvy and Mather (O&M) and Music Broadcast Private Limited (Radio City 91.1FM ).[3]
